Hello everyone,
We are happy to announce that the MIS helpdesk is resuming sending a monthly tech tip, hopefully with our tips we can help you become more proficient and maybe even make your work a little easier with technology shortcuts and the extra tools that are already available but not known. We would like to start with a service available to all MedWatch users, but few people know about it, and that is Zendesk Live Chat. While technology is great, sometimes it likes to misbehave, and thatās when you can count with the MIS helpdesk to solve your issue, but not only you can call or create a ticket, you can also chat with us in real time in the Zendesk website, this feature is called Live Chat, and this is how you can use it to get support:
- In all MedWatch laptops, if you open Edge, you will have a bookmark folder called āManaged favoritesā, and inside you will have the link to get to the MedWatch helpdesk Portal (Zendesk)
- Once in the helpdesk portal, on the bottom right corner of the page, the chat button can be found
- Once you click on the Chat button, you will have a few options like asking our AI bot questions about your issue, information about our request form, or chatting with an live MIS agent.
- Once you click on the option āChat with Agentā , the bot will ask you to fill out a couple of fields with your information. Please fill this up and hit āEnterā on your keyboard (Like a chat in Teams!).
- The chatbot will connect you to any available live agents.
