Hello everyone!
Welcome to this Zendesk guide in which we discuss using the clipboard! We would like you to introduce a very handy feature that could help when you have a lot of information to copy and paste in between. This feature is called the “Clipboard History.” It is a powerful tool that allows you to access up to 25 pieces of information you have recently copied! Once clicking on an item inside of the clipboard, it will immediately paste it to wherever your mouse cursor is located.
To access this powerful tool, you must hold down the “Windows key” on your keyboard, and then click the “V” button.
After the clipboard is pulled up for the first time, you will need to turn the log on so you can access any screenshots or lines of text that you have already copied.
Once you see the screen that says, “Nothing Here,” that means your clipboard history has been successfully enabled and you are ready to start using it!
Some other features on the other tabs of this tool include adding emotes, GIF’s, and punctuation marks that otherwise may be inconvenient to reach on your keyboard, or you may need to add a custom punctuation mark as well.
We encourage everyone to try this handy feature out, as it can be a time-saver in a multitude of situations!
